Collecting testimonials

The Simple Way to Collect Customer Testimonials

Most businesses do not have a testimonial problem. They have a collecting problem — the praise arrives in an inbox, a DM and a text message, and then it sits there. This turns asking into sending one link.

One flat price. Unlimited views. Your widget never switches off.

Send a link. Approve what comes back.

Five steps, and after the first two you are only ever doing the fourth.

  1. 01

    Create a form

Name it and choose the question your customer answers.

  2. 02

    Share the link

Email, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, a QR code, or a button on your site.

  3. 03

    They write it

A rating, a few lines, their name. No account, no password.

  4. 04

    You approve

It arrives pending. Read it, fix a typo, approve or reject.

  5. 05

    It appears

Every widget carrying it updates itself. You touch nothing.

What your customer sees

The hosted form, at a link you send them. No account, no password, no app to install — they open it, write a few lines and they are done.

An example of the form, not a working one — there is nothing here to fill in. Your real form is spam-protected and every submission arrives for your approval before anybody else can see it.

Nothing is public by accident

The default is off, in both places where it could matter.

A submitted testimonial is invisible until you approve it, and a wall is private until you publish it. Neither of those defaults can be flipped by a customer, and neither happens automatically when you are not looking.

You are also told the moment something arrives, so approving is a thing you do that day rather than a queue you discover a month later.

Then put it somewhere

Collecting is half of it. The other half is the part your visitors see.

Approved testimonials go into a wall, a carousel or a rating badge, embedded with one script tag. Unlimited forms and unlimited testimonials cost $19 a month, and there is no view allowance on what you publish — on any plan.

Questions people ask

Does my customer need an account?

No. They open the link, write their testimonial and submit. There is no sign-up, no password and no app — which matters, because every extra step between asking and receiving is a testimonial you do not get.

How do I send the form?

It is an ordinary link, so any channel works: an email after a project ends, a WhatsApp message, a LinkedIn reply, a QR code on an invoice, or a button on your own site.

What if somebody writes something I do not want published?

Nothing is public until you approve it. Every submission arrives pending and invisible, and rejecting one means it never appears anywhere. You can also fix a typo before approving.

Can I add testimonials that came in some other way?

Yes. Praise that arrived by email or DM can be entered by hand, so everything lives in one place rather than half in a spreadsheet. Duplicate detection catches the same quote being added twice.

Is the form protected from spam?

Yes, with a privacy-preserving check that does not make your customer solve a puzzle. Combined with approval, nothing unwanted reaches your site.

Can customers add a photo?

Optionally, up to 2 MB. A face beside a quote makes it read as a person rather than as copy, but nobody is required to provide one.

How many forms can I have?

One on the free plan and unlimited on the paid plan. Separate forms are useful when you want a different question for different services or different clients.
